Shannon Bramer was born in Hamilton. She is the author of three books of poetry: suitcases and other poems; scarf; and most recently, The Refrigerator Memory (with Coach House Books). She lives in Toronto with her husband and two daughters. She is currently working on new poems and a play.

Creator of the popular "Seen Reading" blog and podcast (www.seenreading.com), fiction writer, and House of Anansi marketer and publicist, Julie Wilson runs a youth-centred workshop designed to get kids and teens collaborating on a creative project. Toronto poet, Shannon Bramer, whose most recent chapbook, Fishings, was created in collaboration with her three-year-old daughter, will read from her work. Feature readings by Rupi Natt, Aaryn Zhou and Georgia Webber follows.
